Just in case others experience this.. The airplane mode toggle stopped working but I had not knowingly (!) changed any settings etc on the phone.. It seems android switched the Default Digital Assistant back to Google (when or why, who knows!) So you solve just set Default Digital Assistant...

Just fyi for others, if you find that the mobile data switching action isn't turning the mobile data back on, in Developer options, make sure the 'mobile data always active' setting is enabled.

thank you!! I re-enabled the Google app on my One+6 so I could use it in Android Auto but I can do without it there but I really miss the airplane mode switch functionality in MD though. thank you again!

I'd like a connectivity trigger to automatically switch to mobile data when the home wifi signal is less than say -100dB for a period of X secs. and just to say, I know one can leave data on all the time, and I've enabled native aggressive handover to mobile data but it's not aggressive enough.

hey, anyone know if the new helper apk gets around the file read issue where the latest version (sdk enforcement) won't read from clipboard upon change. I got an earlier version of the app from apkmirror but I'm keen on updating to latest Play Store version but not if it breaks this clipboard...
