Is it possible to have a macro that will make a daily selection from a specific folder (that contains numerous pictures) and make it a lock screen wallpaper? My attempts so far do not produce this result.
Thanks.
In MacroDroid drawer adding a Shorcut Link to Direct Dial results in the following error: "Cannot use shortcut (did not return the right data)". Any solution?
Hi, after each reboot a macro that has to write a file on the external SD asks for permission again. Any definitive solution? All permission have been given, no root.

hi, is there a way to select a folder that contains images for using as wallpapers? (PLEASE NOTE: the point is to select the whole folder, not image by image)
Can't think of. What I need is for the macro not to trigger when the call has been VoIP, but there is no such trigger. Or, not to identify the calllers as unknown, just because they are VoIP.
Nope, that won't help either because Viber and WhatsApp DO NOT pop up because of the trigger. The problem is that the macro, for some weird reason, started some time ago to trigger by calls made via Viber and WhatsApp and it considers ANY call as an unknown number.
Thanks, my first thought was also this constraint but it doesn't make sense, because what I am trying to achieve is not to have WhatsApp and Viber triggered by this Macro. I.e., if the call state is on or off does not matter.
Hi, I've been using for years a macro that automates the saving of unknown phone numbers. Recently after an Android update, the macro started firing after each VoIP call (Viber, WhatsApp...). Any suggestions on how to restrict/constrain the trigger only to phone calls?
Well, if we assume that apps that work from time to time get killed, but those who are in constant use do not, than it shouldn't be like that. I have macros that trigger all the time. I am trying to say that I use MD all the time, except during night time.
Hi, Android 12, Samsung galaxy S20fe, MD stopped working several times. No error, nothing, the app is there, bit macros do not work. I have to restart and it's fine. No root, no funny stuff.
Any ideas? Thanks
I agree, but I did not save the macro. That is my point, I just tested it. But then again, how do you test something if the action is not performed... Complicated issue.
Well, I guess it depends on whos logic than, I would assume the action has to stick only if the macro is saved, but that is my point of view, off course. Anyways, thanks.
