    Closing this thread with solution: -yes Jacob was right (tks again), Android battery manager was killing the app or at least its permissions. Solution is to desingage automatic memory management as explained in the previous post.

    Every 4 or 5 days I must change android (8.0) settings to allow the four accessibility permissions that MD demands again. Is this normal? I hv no other apps with alzheimer... thanks

    Microphone recording folder

    Accidentaly I found the solution: long-press the folder icon. Yes the icon, not the path, tree or the folder name, and a short touch is not enough. Maybe this happens also in other screens where we need to navigate a tree and select a file path.

    Thanks a lot. Watching Ewelink's notifications is a good idea and I am exploring it. But notifs only say on or off, do not show temperature, for example. And cannot be used as an action (set timer or temperature, switch on, etc). I wish to uninstall Ewelink, a heavy, slow, and underfeatured app...

    Unable to change default folder . Screen shows \ and.. but nothing happens when pressed. Intention: save phone calls in card, not in internal memory. Thanks 4help.
