Thank you, but isn't there an easier way for the normal user? The user-friendliness is one of the highlights of MacroDroid.

There are apps that allow you to isolate activities inside other apps and to launch them instead of the full app (ActivityLauncher app or Nova f.e.) I would like to have them as an action.

Gestures in general work for me fine, just not the swipe up gesture to unlock. My uneducated guess: a built in restriction.

Doesn't work for me either. I have given up. I wanted to use it for a remote unlocking to be able to start "Quick Video Recorder " remotely by SMS on 11+ . For the time being this works for me even when locked. - I am on 10 with a MiMax3 - , as far as I know impossible on 11 +.

Yes and make sure that MD is exempt from all energy savings and that it auto starts. If you don't trust MD you better stop using it.
