Having been a developer myself I understand that. I'm surprised no-one else seems to be reporting the issue? Tonight I will restart the phone, fully recharge and keep MD switched off all day tomorrow without any brief switch ons and see what happens

Thank you for sharing that. The thing is MD was TURNED OFF. It shouldn't be doing anything or using any battery juice.

Yesterday MD was disabled all day, apart from the briefest periods. By bedtime it was top of the battery consumers, at nearly 16%. What's going on?

Update : Yesterday I backed up all macros and deleted and reinstalled MD. That didn't seem to help. Today I've disabled ALL macros but kept MD enabled - it shouldn't be doing anything. But already it's the top battery consumer at 3.4%, 2 hours since the last full charge. I've had the app open...

It may be this is available already. Could it be possible to fetch a list of all available SSIDs and get MD to connect to the strongest? Thanks

Yes I've noticed significantly reduced battery life in recent days and Macrodroid is the top consumer at over 19% today. My phone usage hasn't changed .

The wind speed trigger is great. When it reaches 30mph it sends me a warning and I take the antenna down. However the wind direction trigger is strange. It doesn't ask for a value, like East. Is it whenever there's just a change in wind direction? That would be all the time!

I have a macro which should detect WiFi SSIDs. The trigger is set to detect every 5 minutes. Very often it just doesn't work. I'm sitting surrounded by WiFis that are on its list but it just refuses to detect them. Only if I restart the phone will it work, or go away from the area for a while...
