So i double checked my location and went to the open weathermap website itself, and there it did say that it was raining!

Did you set location manually? I don't know how to do that because my city has 2 names, so I let it use GPS and do its things automagically :)

Yes i set a fixed location, you can just try to put 1 of your city's names and then check if it is correct by googling the latitude and longitude that are in the corresponding variables, that is how i confirmed that it was set to the right city.

I added "lat" and "lon" variables just now, but kept my position to automatic.
When I manually fired my macro, lat and lon stayed empty, so I don't know if I did something wrong or it always needs a fixed location for those vars to work..

Can you check?

Don't you have to force an update in the plugins app first? before manually firing your macro? Or maybe just wait for the next automatic update?

I deleted the plugin 2 weeks ago, so i cannot check..

Yes, I also manually updated in plugin before checking in MD, still no dice.

Thanks anyway.

A weather notification came through and both vars got updated. They were locating a spot inside my house, lol, couldn't be more specific.

Anyway, today I've uninstalled the plugin. There are thunderstorms and occasional rain but my macro didn't ever fire.
Also, I did a manual refresh in the plugin, triggered my macro and the vars stayed exactly the same (condition, temp, umidity etc..)
It looks like they only update when there's an automatic event - and that almost never happens for me.

Too bad :(

I've downloaded another app (Buienradar) that is supposed to give me rain warnings, but it has been raining all night and it never told me..

I've now downloaded the "Openweather" app itself, i was hoping that would work better, but it doesn't even have settings that i can change, so i'm not sure if it will even give warnings/notifications... time will tell i gues...
