Thank you very much. I'm glad it's not just me then. Hopefully it might get resolved one day but I won't hold my breath 🤣. I'll see if there's another way to do it.

I'm wondering if I should have root access for this to work? Do you think that might be the case?

Thanks Jacob, unfortunately I've just checked that and all of my settings are correct. It happens literally the second I leave the macrodroid screen. The app is still running when I do this but it just isn't working. As soon as I go back to the app (still on the screen I left it on) it works...

It's only working when I'm in the macro app though. Is that supposed to be right? If I'm on the android home screen should the macro still work as long as the app is running in the background?

I have just created a macro to use a Bluetooth button to activate Google Assistant whilst on a motorcycle with a Bluetooth crash helmet. Whilst in the app and testing it works perfectly. As soon as I minimise back to the home page the button stops working. Is this because I'm running the free...
