Nope. Clicked on it (many times!) and given permission. But after that, Macdroid immediately shows a window asking what kind of file (image, audio etc) I want to delete. No means to select a subfolder.

This was the procedure I followed:
1) Create new macro
2) Actions
3) File
4) File operations (version 2)
5) Delete
6) Local storage
7) Allow access
And then... setup is finished, I have no possibility to choose a particular folder...

Sorry for bothering. A month ago I easily managed to create a macro to delete all files in a folder. It was quite simple: I selected File in Actions, then New operations, then Delete and finally choose the folder.
I tried just now to repeat the process for another folder, but I wasn't able...
Thanks a lot! I upgraded macrodroid, downloaded your macro and changed the variable path to /storage/emulated/0/WhatsApp/Media/WhatsApp Images/
