Hi.

I have problem with macro that turn on AOD when there is any notification.
I've added WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS but it did not helped.
Macro is working because I've added flashlight LED alongside AOD but light is flashing and AOD stays off.

Does anyone can help me with that AOD? Since there is no notification LED i would like to switch on and off AOD when there is notification or phone is charging.

But I already did add all the commands (WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS, CHANGE_CONFIGURATION) via ADB. Does this script do it differently?
There's a little more than just secure settings that's all. There's a setting in developer options that allows ADB to grant permissions, something like permission guard. If it's not on it won't work. Perhaps Android is killing MacroDroid. Follow steps at dontkillmyapp.com as well just to be sure

I've set action to turn on ambient display which requires ADB or root and as a test dark/day mode which also requires ADB or root. The theme of phone is switching hence ADB method works, but AOD is not turning on :S

You're not the only one having this problem, it doesn't work on my phone either. I haven't found a fix, but what you can do is put the action to turn the screen on right before the one switching AOD and after another one to turn it back off. It works well and it's almost imperceptible.

Can you upload a screenshot of what you are talking about? :D It would be super useful :)

Sorry it's in my native language, I highlighted the settings I'm talking about. First one is "screen on" or "unlock screen", second one is "AOD on" and third one is "screen off". Note that you can also put "screen off" before "AOD on" as long as they activate immediately one after another. Idk why, but Macrodroid isn't able to change AOD when screen is off on some phones, that's why I have to do this. Hope it works for you as well
