I'm able to access com.arlosoft.macrodroid using ZArchiver, but then I get a popup about the "File app version" not supporting "grant access to folders" and it suggests uninstalling the update. Do you know what this means? Do I need to find an apk of an older version of ZArchiver? (If you don't have an immediate answer let me know, then I will do some more research myself.)Local backup: Use a file manager that can access Android/data (I use ZArchiver which uses a workaround to access the directory). Once you are in this directory, search for "com.arlosoft.macrodroid", then go tofiles/MacroDroid/Autobackup
. There you can find your backups.
How do I add that tile? I've found the Edit section for the quick settings tiles but am not seeing an option to add a brand new tile or an existing tile called "Enable/Disable".Quick Setting Tile
There is a quick settings tile that allows you to enable/disable MacroDroid outside the app. It will only work if MacroDroid is working for at least a few seconds. Here are the steps to follow.
- Open the quick settings tile section of the status bar.
- Add a new tile called "Enable/Disable" with a MacroDroid icon.
- If the app only crashes when you open it, click this tile to disable MacroDroid. Otherwise, start MacroDroid and quickly click the tile.
I haven't seen this popup, but it suggests either to install an older version of ZArchiver or that you can't do it without ADB (which I will hopefully add soon).I'm able to access com.arlosoft.macrodroid using ZArchiver, but then I get a popup about the "File app version" not supporting "grant access to folders" and it suggests uninstalling the update. It's there by default. It should be available next to MacroDroid tiles when you add tiles. How do I add that tile? I've found the Edit section for the quick settings tiles but am not seeing an option to add a brand new tile or an existing tile called "Enable/Disable".
I checked and I did not see any MacroDroid tiles. Then I added a new tile with the Quick Settings Tiles section in MD, and that is the only tile I see now. No default tiles or a MacroDroid section or anything. It's there by default. It should be available next to MacroDroid tiles when you add tiles.
